The State We're In (Part 2): Appendix

Here is a very splendid piece by Howard Hotson, mercilessly dissecting the idea that market forces drive up standards in education.  One problem, I suppose, is that Hotson is basing his analysis itself on the nonsense of the same League Tables the lure of whose superficial study led old "Two-Brain-cells'" and his chums to produce their idiotic ideas in the first place.
